HIGH PEAK SCAFFOLDING KEEPS MASSIVE ROOF RENOVATION ON TRACK
Faced with designing and erecting a temporary roof for the renovation of a 160 metre long roof at The University of Nottingham, High Peak Scaffolding knew a Haki Rolling Roof would keep the project on track and keep costs down.
Supported by Haki Universal Scaffolding erected on each side of the four storey building, High Peak installed 160 metre long tracks to support two 24m wide temporary rolling roofs which were constructed at different heights to enable each roof to be independently moved in to position to cover each phase of the renovation work as it progressed.
Because the Haki temporary roof uses a strong aluminium 750mm deep lattice beam and requires very few components to deliver extremely strong structures with large spans, they provided a watertight environment which was quickly and easily manoeuvred in to position as the project moved forward.
